George Sharos, owner and Master Craftsman specializing in jewelry design, silversmithing, and gem cutting, brings a comprehensive understanding of the art of jewelry creation, ensuring that his work not only meets but exceeds the highest standards of craftsmanship. George is a seasoned bench jeweler, jewelry store owner, and gemstone buyer with years of experience and extensive knowledge in both the business of jewelry making, having spent years perfecting his craft. George’s artwork has been recognized at multiple juried art shows and exhibitions across the county, and has won prestigious awards for its unique beauty and superior craftsmanship.
GEORGE'S EXPERIENCE
George's passion for the gem and mineral world began in high school, where he mined turquoise at his family's mine in Nevada. This early experience sparked his interest in stone cutting, jewelry design, and collecting fine gemstones. Over the years, George has continually refined his skills, earning certifications including a GIA Certificate in Diamond Grading, and graduating from the New Approach School of Jewelry.
Earlier this year, he advanced his education by studying at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts, where he took courses on the intricate art of Intarsia. George’s extensive knowledge and expertise are widely respected, and his jewelry appraisals have been accepted as expert testimony in court.
